Thomas J., 65, dear brother of David ( Carol Tyler), Judy (Don) Fisher and Charlie (Pam) Hardgrove. Passed away suddenly, Tuesday, August 13, 2013. Tom worked for the Bulk Mail Handling at the US Postal Service for 37 years before retirement. Lee Marcussen, Tom's best friend from High School represented our class at Tom's funeral. He said Tom died in his sleep of a heart attack.
He lived alone in Mason, Ohio and was found dead in his bed. He had knee surgery 3 weeks ago and decided to retire from the post office after 40 years.
He was in a bad motorcycle accident while in the Navy. Lee said he knew of the accident but did not know it was while he was in the service. He never married or had kids. He was considered 40% disabled.
