CLASS OF 1965

60TH CLASS REUNION

Please save the date!!  Can you believe it has been 60 years since our High School Graduation?

We would like to invite you to come to our Reunion Lunch on September 12, 2025 and then join your former classmates as we attend the Belairs Show on September 13, 2025 to enjoy the songs from the 50's and 60's.

A Reunion Lunch has been planned for Friday, September 12, 2025 at 11:30 amWe hope you will come and join us at the Swingline Grill located at 7710 Railroad Ave, Madeira OH 45243.  It is located across the street from the Madeira Railroad Station.

Please understand that each guest will be paying for a meal and/or beverages of his or her choice. To see menu choices and prices please go to the Swingline Grill website https://www.swinglinemadeira.com/

We will also be attending the Belairs Show in Fairfield, OH on Saturday, September 13. 2025 at 7:00 pm. (You must bring your own chairs.) The Belairs is a 50's & 60's Rock 'n Roll Show Band that will perform from 7 - 9 pm at the Village Green Park Amphitheater - 301 Wessel Dr, Fairfield, OH 45014. Cost to Attend is Free.  Village Green Park is located between the Fairfield Community Arts Center and the Lane Library. We suggest you get there early as parking is at a premium. Everyone will be responsible for either bringing there own food or buying food and drinks at the Food Trucks.  FYI there is also a Free Car Show at the same location from 3:30 - 10 pm in the Village Green Park.

If you plan to attend one or both of these events, please RSVP by Monday, Sept. 9 to Donna Ross Ballard at dlrb33@gmail.com. Please also let her know if you are planning on bringing a guest with you so she can give the restaurant an accurate head count of how many of us are attending the lunch and we can save enough lawn space for us all to sit together at the Belairs Show.

Hope to see everyone in September!

In Memory

The Madeira Class of ’65  In Memory lists known classmate deaths by year of passage. It’s a convenient way to stay informed of our losses, both those from years ago and more recently.  Please let us know if you have information about a classmate that has passed away so they can be added to our Memory Page.  And don’t forget to stop by the In Memory page and add a remembrance of an old friend.

1955

“Rock Around the Clock” by Bill Haley and His Comets became the first rock ‘n’ roll single to top the Billboard’s Pop charts.
